He led a life of prolonged partying. A musician of salons and courtyards; of venerable nights and endless festivities. His trumpet ignited every crowd. And on many occasions, in the heat of a raging party, Fidencio would lose his instrument. The trumpet, however, invariably reappeared in the hands of a loyal admirer of his creative work, who would bring it back to Clementina’s house.
